S6E6 EIR- A Boatful of Bull

Only Katja, Agnes and Gary at session.

Emmanulle introduced characters to Maria-Luise, the Emperor's lover. She took the characters to meet the emperor who is ill with Purple Brain Fever (an incurable disease) he contracted after meeting with Gideon (who he thought was an orphan).

Quintas gave them clues that Sigmar took Ghal-Maraz south to the Black Fire Pass and was not seen with it again. He turned off of the path near the 3 mothers monument.

Met with Crown Prince who is going to be the regent while the Emperor is ill.

The characters got a boat and headed south on the river Reik. Rumors of the Emperor being ill are spreading.

At the town of Diesdorff, just north of Kemperbad, they were enjoying a pint when a cripple entered and revealed he was a bird-headed-mutant. He offered a parlay to the town from the Red Crown (the town doesn't have a militia as they were pressed into service to fight the orcs in the east; thanks Gary). Gary shot the mutant and Agnes finished him off.

Katja looked outside and saw several boats of beastmen approaching and more from the forest. A siege is about to begin.

Altdorf : It took another 2 weeks to decide upon (and find) barge improvements. Purchasing 2 blunderbuss (to repel boarders) wasn’t difficult, nor installing 4 aiming mounts. Finding swivel cannons was more difficult. One mount each was installed fore and aft. With the plan to store the cannons out of sight till needed; to then muscle them in place. S1E3: Ubersreik adventures/Heart of Glass (part 1)

Events : For the next 2 weeks they pondered what to call themselves. “I kind of like ‘ Sister Agnes’ Orphans ’.” Gary gloomily responded, “Feels right considering I just learned my mother-in-law hates me.” Katja consoled him, “Cheer up; I can envision glorious weather ahead of us.” Mallorhan, on the other hand, wasn’t so cheerful, “Whatever job we find, we’d best double-check the pay as rumor has it, counterfeit coins are circulating in the streets.” Brandiwyn pondered, “Remember that Strigany mystic on the barge we worked? I’m still trying to make sense of some cryptic omen she foretold. S6E12 EIR- Restoring Ghal Maraz

PCs : Agnes (Duane), Mor (Bill), Gary (Matt), Venegral (Tony), Katja (Geoff), Ymath (Brian) Battle of the Barges : The enemy barge (flying a ‘Red Crown’ flag) sailed at them. Mutants lined its deck and manned its forward cannons which erupted, shredding the hull of their LostnFound barge. Mor and Katja aimed for the foe cannoneers as Gary lit the fuze on the LostnFound cannon, answering with rigging hits to the foe. Meanwhile, Venegral sensed the Winds-of-Dhar rising from the river and recognized the aura of an invisible “Gideon”. Agnes sensed other threats as in aquatic beastmen climbing the hull of the barge. Ships closing, cannon balls flying, arrows and bolts and magical blasts and fireballs filled the air. Josef fought the ship-wheel trying to avoid ramming the approaching barge as the heroes fought off the bestial threats.
